What we do
Treatment and Recovery
The treatment we offer is experience based, down to earth and practical. We concern ourselves only with what we know to be helpful and what has been proved to bring about enduring and useful changes. We have a long association with the treatment of alcohol problems and exposure to all levels of drinking problems from low level concerns about alcohol consumption through to the highest levels of dependence
Counselling support for family members
So often family members, partners friends and loved ones are left baffled and frustrated, and don't know what to do when it comes to another person's drinking problem. It can seem as though the situation is hopeless and out of control. Understanding the nature of a drinking problem is the first step - and experience is the key to this understanding. We are able to offer help that will aid you in this process
Information for employers
It is sometimes hard to know what to do for the best when it becomes apparent that an employee has got a problem with their drinking. Often we may feel that we do not wish to loose a good worker, but on the other hand things can no longer carry on as they are. We are able to offer face to face help and advice with this difficult issue for employers, along with the provision of information and resources supplied on this website
Information for Practitioners
Information resources concerning alcohol problems are spread far and wide over the general and caring communities. Our Practitioner pages provide a useful information base for both Health-care Professionals and interested parties in one location. Information from these printer friendly internet pages can be easily copied or stored as 'favourites' or 'bookmarks'

Alcohol Counselling
We can often drink unsafely for a long time before we get to the point where we feel that it's time to get some help. Asking for help is a fundamentally positive step to take which can lead us to find the insight and realisation that we need to make lasting changes to our lives. Alcohol counselling combined with a practical treatment programme can help to make the changes that are necessary for us to live life normally without having to rely or depend upon alcohol
